• Study of platelet function: interaction of platelets with thrombogenic surfaces, platelet aggregation, expression of platelet activation markers.
• Evaluation of parameters indicating leukocyte activation: CD11b expression, respiratory burst.
• Analisis of leukocyte-platelet interaction: heterotypic aggregation
• Effect of drugs on platelet and leukocyte funtion: inhibitors of platelet aggregation, antiinflammatory drugs, NO-donors, free radical scavengers.
• Study of apoptotic phenomena in leukocytes.
